INKWAVE Weapons
INKWAVE features seven primary weapons used in its 4v4 turf-war matches. Each one has its own ink, range and movement, and every kit carries Splat Bombs and a special.
Key facts
- Seven primary weapons, one of each class
- Classes: shooter, roller, charger, blaster, dualies, slosher and splatling
- Every kit carries Splat Bombs and one of two specials
- Each weapon paints turf at a different rate, range and spread
Spritzer
Shooter
The Spritzer is INKWAVE's rapid-fire all-rounder: a forgiving shooter that inks ground quickly and wins most fair fights at close to mid range.
Swell Roller
Roller
The Swell Roller paints wide stripes of turf by rolling and flicks a heavy arc of ink for close-range splats.
Glint Charger
Charger
The Glint Charger is a long-range charger that fires a piercing line of ink and splats in one fully charged shot.
Popper Blaster
Blaster
The Popper Blaster fires slow ink shots that burst in mid-air, splatting a direct hit and damaging anyone behind cover.
Twinfin Dualies
Dualies
The Twinfin Dualies are twin pistols with a dodge roll that lets you slip sideways while firing.
Tidebucket Slosher
Slosher
The Tidebucket Slosher heaves an arc of ink over cover and up ledges, hitting anything it lands on.
Gyre Splatling
Splatling
The Gyre Splatling spins up before firing a long, fast stream of ink that punishes anyone caught in the open.
Choosing a weapon
New players should start with the Spritzer or the Swell Roller: both paint quickly and forgive imperfect aim. The Glint Charger and Gyre Splatling reward players who can hold long angles, while the Popper Blaster, Tidebucket Slosher and Twinfin Dualies want to fight around cover and corners.
Weapon choice does not lock you into a role. Any kit can paint, and the match is decided by turf rather than splats.
