Key facts

  • Elevated spawn decks with three exits
  • A 2-meter dry-dock trench crosses the middle, bridged by grate catwalks
  • Squids slip through the grates; kids can stand underneath them
  • The central gantry deck has un-inkable steel sides and can be climbed only from the front or back

Kelpline Terminal has more vertical layers than any other INKWAVE stage. Both teams start on elevated decks with three exits each, looking out over container yards on the flanks and a raised side deck with a grate catwalk.

The middle is a sunken dry-dock trench, two meters deep, crossed by grate bridges. The grates are the stage’s signature: in squid form you slip straight through them, while in kid form you can walk underneath them. A player who knows the grates can appear under a bridge, or escape through the floor.

Above the trench sits a steel gantry deck. Its sides are un-inkable, so it can only be climbed from the front or back. Holding the gantry controls the middle, but the climb is predictable, and a patient defender will punish it.

Play Kelpline when you want a stage that rewards route knowledge over raw aim.
